Gods above! The party has just had their first major conflict since my scrying began, and it was a doozy! They did moderately well against the Behir much better than expected (Tho when that one was swallowed I thought for sure it was all over. Who knew they could be so lucky?) Despite the party willing to deal with the creature, for some reason known only to it's reptilian mind, it reneged on the deal and the party was forced to kill it. Hopefully they think to take some samples, I have an idea for an electrically resistant cloak that'd I'd love to explore. (Blast it! They didn't take a thing! You'd think that the wizard would have at least caught up some of the ichors from the thing, but I suppose allowances have to be made for his being Dwarven.)

A SHADOW DRAGON??? How in the Nine Hells did a shadow dragon live so close without my knowing it? And one who knows how to use the Art to it's advantage. Fortunately, it suffered the fate of most wyrms who fight adventurers due to it's overweening confidence and fell to the party's attack. (Note to self, try to keep the Deep Gnome in front of me where I can keep an eye on him.) Unfortunately I had already used the marker Thokartar had left to get him to transport the party to my town. (Perhaps it wasn't Tymora's luck the other night, but Beshaba's) Even worse, in my haste I neglected to give him a firm timeline so Azuth knows when he might pop up!
